Background. the general atmosphere in Islamic teachings is positive. The attributes considered for God are more encouraging than vengeful; “in the name of God”, which is present at the beginning of doing every task, is followed by the two attributes “compassionate” and “merciful”, indicating a positive attitude towards life. The experimental group was provided with positive training with an emphasis on the Quran and religious teachings for six ninety-minute sessions weekly. At the end of the training, the two groups were asked to complete the given questionnaire one more time. In the next stage, after three months, a follow-up test was carried out to assess the durability of the given trainings. A multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) as well as descriptive statistics was used to analyze the data.

Results. the results of multivariate analysis of covariance showed that considering the quality of life in the post-test phase, there is a significant difference between the two groups, which remained stable during follow-up phase.
